Last Modified: February 6, 2020

Inspection Support LLC (“ISN”, or “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy, as modified from time to time, describes our practices in connection with information collected through our website, any mobile applications that we make available, other ISN web and digital properties, our related telephone services, and our inspection support software and other services offered by ISN (collectively, the “Services”).

As a general principle, information you provide to us will only be used or shared by ISN as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

By visiting or using any of the Services, you agree to the practices and policies set forth in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, you may not use any of the Services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect two basic types of information in conjunction with your use of any Services – personal information and non-personal information. “Personal information”  is any information that can individually identify an individual and includes, for example and without limitation, a person’s name, email address, username, telephone number, postal address, and so forth. “Non-personal information” includes information that does not personally identify an individual but may include (without limitation) anonymized usage information about location, demographics, transaction information, and use of Services and the Internet.

Personal Information

You may voluntarily supply us with personal information. For example, we will collect personal information when you:

  • Sign up to receive information from us
  • Register for an account
  • Participate on social media accounts involving ISN
  • Voluntarily provide personal information on the Services, such as uploading User Content (as defined below) that includes your personal information or that of other people (such as your clients) or providing credit card information to purchase Services.

User Content

As an inspector subscribing to the Services, you and your authorized account users (“Users”) may create, upload, store, process or transmit in the Services text, photos, videos, measurements, reports, comments, reviews, feedback, notes, ideas, know-how, techniques, data or other information (individually and collectively, “User Content”).

Non-Personal Information

When you use any Services, our servers may keep an activity log that has been anonymized and cannot not identify you individually. These logs may include anonymized information such as device information about your computer, mobile device, or other device that you use to access any Services, browser information and traffic data, such as time and date of access, access times, and referring website addresses. We use this information to assist us in running the Services and ensuring proper operation.

Use of Cookies

When you interact with any of the Services, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, “cookie” information, and the page you requested.

We use cookies in a variety of ways, in order to improve your experience and the performance and functionality of the Services. For example, cookies enable us to remember the choices you make and to offer you more personalized features and content. We also use cookies to collect information about use of the Services, such as the most frequently visited pages, usage patterns and interactions with ads. Cookies also allow us and our advertisers to deliver more relevant ads. For example, we may use cookies that collect information about your browsing activity across multiple websites, to limit the number of times you see the same ad and to help measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. The information collected using these third-party advertising or tracking cookies does not identify you personally.

Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies, but you can change your settings to notify you when a cookie is being set or updated, or to block cookies altogether. Please consult the “Help” section of your browser for more information. Please note that by blocking any or all cookies, you may not have access to certain features, content, or personalization available through the Services.

Currently, we do not honor do-notces. Your interactions with those features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them.

Children’s Online Privacy

ISN respects the privacy of children and we are committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us without verification of parental consent, we will take commercially reasonable steps to delete that information.
